A new resiliency and software assurance measure (RSAM) software update is available for the Ground-Based GPS Receiver Applications Module (GB-GRAM) Type I (NSN 5825-01-529-2565, PN 987-1856-023) and Type II (NSN 5825-01-593-7395, PN 987-9705-001). The RSAM 2.0 update can be found on the C5ISR software repository website HERE.

This latest software update reduces risk by allowing legacy SAASM-based (Selective Availability Anti-Spoofing Module) military GPS receivers to recognize, reject, report and recover from bad navigation data when operating in a GPS-challenged environment. A further advantage is that an anti-jam antenna (AJA) can be used.
