75th U.S. Army Reserve Innovation Command welcomes new commanding general

The 75th U.S. Army Reserve Innovation Command held a change of command ceremony, June 28, 2024. 75th USARIC Soldiers and Civilians watched Maj. Gen. Martin Klein relinquish command to Maj. Gen. Michelle Link. Lt. Gen. Jody Daniels, chief of Army Reserve and commanding general, U.S. Army Reserve Command, was the presiding officer. The event included the traditional passing of the colors, symbolizing the transfer of command authority from Klein to Link.

The Solution Sandstorm

The 75th US Army Reserve Innovation Command stormed Fort Irwin with practical solutions to propel the Army Modernization Enterprise during Project Convergence Capstone 4 in Fort Irwin, California. With extensive experience in machine learning, cyber security, project management and other advanced fields, these Soldiers pioneered partnerships with DOD and industry leaders to shape the future of warfare. From enhancing unmanned aerial systems to fostering spiritual unity, their impact resonated far beyond the battlefield.

Surging of Talent: 75th Innovation Command hosts first Code-a-Thon

Army Reserve innovators gathered in Houston for a Code-A-Thon that began July 17, 2023. The event focused on enhancing capabilities to process and analyze data so commanders may make quick, informed decisions to dominate the battlespace. The approximately 30 in attendance from U.S. Army Futures Command, XVIII Airborne Corps, and the 75 Innovation Command leveraged their industry expertise in labeling operations, data science and A.I. to solve real-world Army problems.

Of Warriors & Hackers

Army Reserve innovators gathered in Houston for a Code-A-Thon that began July 17, 2023. The intent of the Code-A-Thon was to build planning capabilities and host similar technology events in the future. The Code-A-Thon was hosted by the 75th Innovation Command with about 30 in attendance, along with members from the U.S. Army Futures Command and the XVIII Airborne Corps. The Army Reserve Soldiers leveraged their industry expertise in labeling operations; data science; and tech and engineering backgrounds to solve real-world Army problems.

From Enlisted Soldier to Commissioned Officer: Perseverance Led to Direct Commissioning

Venkatesh Srinivasan woke up and put on his uniform on June 25, 2023, with the rank of specialist in the Army Reserve, and by the end of that morning, he was pinned captain bars. Srinivasan had persevered through a long journey to get his commission. Members of the 75th Innovation Command had the opportunity to witness a rare moment when Maj. Gen. Martin Klein, Commanding General of the 75th Innovation Command, presided over the ceremony as Srinivasan repeated the Oath of Office.
