Changes at DEERS/RAPIDS ID card sites

U.S. Army Reserve Command

WHO: All U.S. Army Reserve Major Subordinate Commands (MSCs), Readiness Divisions (RD), and Army Reserve Garrisons.

WHAT: As of 15 April 2025, 32 Army Reserve DEERS/RAPIDS sites have temporarily ceased operations due to a change in contracting. This impacts services at the locations listed below.

Individuals with appointments at these locations must reschedule their CAC appointments at unaffected sites. To find an alternative location and reschedule, please visit: https://idco.dmdc.osd.mil/idco/.

The United States Army Reserve Command (USARC) is actively working with the Fort Bragg Contracting Command to secure a bridging contract to minimize service disruptions. In the interim, individuals are encouraged to utilize the following options:

Reschedule at an unaffected site: A list of available locations can be found at https://idco.dmdc.osd.mil/idco/.

We understand this closure may cause inconvenience and appreciate your patience as we work to restore these vital services.

WHY: To advise Army Reserve personnel, Government Civilians, and Government Contractors that 32 DEERS/RAPIDS Sites are not operational effective as of 04/15/2025. There is a plan in place to re-establish operations rapidly.
