Maj. Gen. Tom O’Connor, commanding general of the U.S. Army Aviation and Missile Command, welcomed injured service members from throughout the United States to the Heroes Week welcome reception held Nov. 7 at the Westin Hotel in Huntsville, Ala. Heroes Week is an annual event hosted by the Semper Fi Community Task Force. This year, 18 heroes and their caregivers were invited to attend.
