In honor of Veterans Day, Maj. Gen. Michelle Link commanding general, 75th U.S. Army Reserve Innovation Command, expresses her gratitude for all who served in America's armed forces.

Soldiers from the 75th U.S. Army Reserve Innovation Command played a critical role in testing advanced aviation and autonomous systems at Experimental Demonstration Gateway Event 24, a high-profile Army exercise aimed at modernizing air capabilities for future battlefields. Through direct collaboration with industry experts at Yuma Proving Ground, Arizona, the Soldiers provided frontline insights to refine these cutting-edge technologies, bridging the gap between concept and real-world application.

A medical exchange designed to share military practices became something more when U.S. and Angolan medical professionals found themselves working side by side to stabilize a critically burned patient at Hospital Militar Principal, Sept. 4.

Angolan Armed Forces (FAA) and U.S. Army Reserve medical professionals with the 915th Forward Resuscitative Surgical Detachment, 313th Hospital Center, 2nd Medical Brigade, conducted a trauma activation simulation Sept. 7 as part of the Angola Medical Readiness Exercise , testing expeditionary medical readiness and strengthening U.S.-Angolan interoperability in trauma response.

Alaska Air National Guardsmen of 176th Wing rescued two pilots in two separate plane crashes Sept. 10. The Alaska Rescue Coordination Center at JBER opened the first mission after receiving a report from a Good Samaritan of a crash of a Piper PA-18 at Friday Creek about 20 miles east of Palmer.
