Black Sea Rotational Force 14.2 Conducts Last Live Fire Platoon Attack of Deployment at Platinum Lion-2014

Marines from 3rd Battalion, 8th Marine Regiment from Black Sea Rotational Force 14.2 conducted their last live fire platoon attack of their deployment during Platinum Lion 2014 at Novo Selo Training Ground, Bulgaria. Captain Orr, Commanding Officer of Weapons Company, 3rd Battalion, 8th Marine Regiment gave an interview shortly after the attack. Platinum Lion includes U.S. Marines and sailors from 3rd Battalion, 8th Marine Regiment and 3rd Battalion, 2nd Marine Regiment, as well as soldiers
from Bulgaria, Romania, Azerbaijan and the United Kingdom. At more than
650 participants, Platinum Lion 14-1 is the largest exercise to ever take place
