On Jan. 18, 2011 an Engineering Civil Affairs Project (ECAP) is held at Baan Pong Wua Elementary School in Chantaburi province, Kaeng Hang Maew District, Kingdom of Thailand, by United States Marines from Marine Wing Support Squadron 172, Marine Wing Support Group 17, 1st Marine Air Wing and Royal Thai Marines from Combat Engineer Battalion in support of Operation Cobra Gold 2011. The ENCAP is used to provide new structures to schools and communities for the benefit of the Thai people. Cobra Gold 2011 is a multi-national training and humanitarian exercise.
