U.S. Army National Guard Sgt. Nick Kraemer, a food distribution volunteer discusses the Point of Distribution (POD) Mission at the Columbia Heights Educational Campus in DC, July 10, 2020. During the COVID-19 response, the DC government partnered with local food banks to provide fresh produce at 13 distribution sites. Guardsmen have been aiding the food distribution mission all across the District of Columbia since April 13, 2020.
