Georgia National Guard’s 1st. Bn., 121st Infantry Regiment, 48th Infantry Brigade
capped their two week annual training at Ft. Stewart, Georgia’s Military Operations
in Urban Terrain (MOUT) site known as Colmar Village with an assault and high value target
(HVT) extraction. The assault on the village began with ‘The Spartan’ Warriors
undertaking an arduous road march led by their
command staff, Lt. Col. Ken Hutnick and Command Sgt. Major Tracy Elliott,
from their bivouac headquarters prior to the pre-dawn assault.
The Winder, Georgia based Citizen-Soldiers have contingents of their unit serving
in Honduras and volunteering around the world.
