Fasching Fun
Defense Media Activity - Air Force
March 7, 2014 | 1:20
This is the Ramstein village Fasching Parade. It’s the last celebration of the carnival season before the start of Ash Wednesday, and although Fasching is traditionally a southern German holiday, there are several dozen traditions throughout Europe celebrating the same thing by different names.
This is an annual parade that’s gone back for several decades, but this German tradition has a couple of visitors this year. Soundbites include CMSGT Robert Frank Lovett - 86 Civil Engineering Group Superintendent.
