ARABIAN SEA (Sept. 15, 2021) An MH-60R Seahawk, attached to the “Saberhawks” of Helicopter Maritime Strike Squadron (HSM) 77 assigned to the guided missile cruiser USS Shiloh (CG 67), launches flares during an exercise with the guided missile cruiser USS Shiloh (CG 67) in the Arabian Sea, Sept. 15. Shiloh is deployed to the U.S. 5th Fleet area of operations in support of naval operations to ensure maritime stability and security in the Central Region, connecting the Mediterranean and Pacific through the western Indian Ocean and three strategic choke points.
