Marines and sailors gathered for a memorial service at Marston Pavilion aboard Camp Lejeune, N.C., Jan. 31. Lance Cpl. Nicholas S. Buscarnera, 19, a Mastic Beach, N.Y., native and ammunition technician with 2nd Supply Bn., 2nd MLG and Pfc. Skyler D. Way, 19, a Gouverneur, N.Y., native and ammunition technician with battalion were both found dead Jan. 7 as a result of a single vehicle incident that occurred along Catfish Lake Rd., Havelock, N.C.
