Hobbyists, is a series covering activities and hobbies of the service members of the U.S. Coast Guard. This first video, The Drone Attraction, is of Chief Warrant Officer 2 Mark Childers, engineer officer, Coast Guard Sector Mobile, who spent his time aboard Coast Guard cutters and small boats working on the engines of Coast Guard assets.
Outside of work Childers is a drone hobbyist and has been learning and building his own drones from scratch by hand since about 2009.
