After sparking the Invictus Games Team US to gold in wheelchair rugby, retired U.S. Marine Corps Cpl. Jorge Salazar was instrumental in helping Team US earn gold in wheelchair basketball. Salazar and his teammates dominated play from opening tip to final buzzer as the USA beat the U.K. team in the gold medal game, 48-16. He also took home golds in both shot-put and discuss.
