Task Force Arkansas Heads Home, Disaster Relief Mission Complete

The remaining Soldiers from Task Force Arkansas packed up and headed home on Sept. 13, after a two week deployment to Texas.

The Task Force was sent to aid the Texas National Guard as assets from the Department of Defense rushed to provide assistance to the citizens of Texas in the devastating aftermath of Hurricane Harvey.

The only Arkansas Guardsmen remaining in Texas are the members of the 61st Civil Support Team. They will continue to support relief efforts with local and state authorities.
