Fleet Master Chief Benning Talks About CSADD
Naval Safety Command
May 22, 2012 | 3:23
The Coalition of Sailors Against Destructive Decisions (CSADD) is a group of young Sailors with the goal of keeping other Sailors from making destructive decision. Their theme is pretty basic, "Stop and Think." Their belief is that if more Sailors just thought for a second before making a poor decision, the Navy would have fewer incidents, mishaps, problems, injuries, or deaths. This peer-to-peer approach at finding solutions has led to many interesting and effective efforts and campaigns. Master Chief Torchia, who recently left the Naval Safety Center, interviewed Fleet Benning to get his perspective on the effort.
