The second installment of “Day In The Life At BAMC highlights BAMC’s Ophthalmology Department. The ophthalmology service mission is to conserve the fighting strength in the realm of vision care by providing the highest quality of eye care to active duty service members, retirees, and their eligible family members. Ophthalmology treats conditions such as cataracts, and offers procedures such as ophthalmic sonography, laser retinopexy, and others to accomplish their mission. (U.S. Army video by Gerardo Estrada)
