A U.S. Marine Corps UH-1N Huey helicopter Marine Light Attack Squadron 773 (HMLA-773) Detachment A, based at Naval Air Station Joint Reserve Base New Orleans, La., prepare and conduct close air support mission at Camp Shelby Joint Forces Training Center, Miss., in support of Southern Strike 15 (SS15) on Nov. 6, 2014. Exercise Southern Strike 15 is a total force, multi-service training exercise hosted by the Mississippi National Guard's Combat Readiness Training Center in Gulfport, Miss., from Oct. 27 through Nov. 7, 2014. The SS15 exercise emphasize air-to-air, air-to-ground and special operations forces training opportunities.
