173rd Airborne Brigade

U.S. Army Paratroopers assigned to the 54th Brigade Engineer Battalion (Airborne) arrived at Niš, Airport for Exercise Skybridge 21 on Sept. 15, 2021. These Sky Soldiers will be rigging up and performing airborne operations with Serbian paratroopers from the 63rd Parachute Brigade in the coming days of the exercise.

Skybridge 21 is a bi-lateral training exercise taking place in Serbia from Sept. 13-17, 2021. Paratroopers from the 54th Brigade Engineer Battalion (Airborne) and the 63rd Parachute Brigade work alongside Riggers with 5th Quartermaster Theater Aerial Delivery Company in order to conduct a joint force airborne operation with training aerial humanitarian aid package delivery. This exercise enhances the interoperability of allied and partner nations by demonstrating the unit's ability to readily respond to any crisis.
