George Washington Sailors Participate In a Small Arms Shoot
USS GEORGE WASHINGTON (CVN 73)
May 1, 2025 | 0:15
Sailors assigned to Nimitz-class aircraft carrier USS George Washington (CVN 73) participate in a small arms shoot on Commander, Fleet Activities Yokosuka, May 2, 2025. All video shots taken in front of the firing line were staged with a clear and safe weapon preceding the shoot. George Washington is 7th Fleet’s premier forward-deployed aircraft carrier, a long-standing symbol of the United States’ commitment to maintaining a free and open Indo-Pacific region, while operating alongside Allies and partners across the U.S. Navy’s largest numbered fleet.
