Remembrance Day, Without Titles
Combined Joint Task Force - Horn of Africa
Nov. 13, 2011 | 1:28
Service members and diplomatic officials from the United Kingdom, the United States, and other nations gathered in Djibouti to honor Remembrance Sunday, a day of tribute much like our Veterans Day. The ceremony was held at Djibouti’s new European Cemetery to honor those who have served for their country. Soldiers with the British army and sailors with the Royal Navy presented songs, readings, and poppy wreaths to honor this sacred day. Sound bites from Col. Michael Scott, Senior British Military Liaison Officer and Lt. Col. James Toomey, United States Army Senior Defense Official. Produced by petty officer Jeremy Brandt. Available in high definition.
