The Texas Army National Guard 1-149 Attack and Reconnaissance Battalion is the unit first to field the improved Apache Mega Nut Strap pack as part of an Army-wide effort to refit the Apache fleet.
The mega-nut improves the safety of pilots and aircraft reliability, as well as reduced maintenance time for ground crews between missions.
