U.S. Marines with 2nd Landing Support Battalion (LSB), Combat Logistics Regiment 27, 2nd Marine Logistics Group, conduct a hypothermia lab on Fort Drum, New York, March 1, 2023. During the hypothermia lab, Marines with 2nd LSB submerged themselves in freezing waters for up to eight minutes to simulate contracting hypothermia in an austere environment and learning how to overcome it and reheat their internal body temperature.
