The reconnaissance platoon from the Maryland National Guard's 231st Chemical Company participates in live-fire training with M2 .50 caliber machine guns at Fort Pickett, Va., on June 29, 2016. The weapons were mounted to four M1135 Nuclear Biological Chemical Reconnaissance Styker Vehicles. The Strykers are new to the unit and they enhance the unit’s capabilities.
