Members of the 1742nd Transportation Company convoyed from Kandahar Airfield to Forward Operating Base Apache to bring back items such as vehicles and storage containers as part of Apache's retrograde and deconstruction. Spc. Nathan Obeslo, from Sioux Falls, S.D., talks about this mission and his role, this deployment, his part in the history of Operation Enduring Freedom, celebrating his birthday with a mission to FOB Apache, and what gets him through the deployment.
