Learn more about the science conducted by the Naval Health Research Center (NHRC) in support of warfighter readiness. One of Navy Medicine's eight research laboratories, NHRC researchers study the physical and psychological stressors faced by today's military. The center also conducts operational infectious diseases surveillance to protect service members from dangerous pathogens and harnesses the power of big data to develop medical planning tools and study the long-term effects of military service.
