U.S. Marine Corps Sgt. Jianjun Hong, left, a pianist and Sgt. Dana Reminsky, a lead vocalist, both with Marine Forces Reserve Band, sings "Ocho Kandelikas/Eight Little Candles" at New Orleans, Nov. 29, 2023. The song is a Judaeo-Spanish song celebrating Hanukkah. Sgt. Hong's hometown is Guiyang, China and graduated Manhattan School of Music. Sgt Reminsky's hometown is Boonton, New Jersey and graduated Montclair State University. The video is in support of PBS NewsHour. PBS created a tradition that was started a few years ago which includes a compilation of U.S. Service members stateside and abroad singing a Christmas song. (U.S. Marine Corps video by Cpl.
