U.S. Marines with the Ground Combat Element, Marine Rotational Force – Darwin, participate in Exercise Carabaroo, Shoalwater Bay Training Area, Queensland, Australia, May 27 to June 2, 2019. Carabaroo is a trilateral exercise hosted by 8th/9th Battalion, Royal Australian Regiment, in conjunction with MRF-D Marines and service members from the Armed Forces of the Philippines and focuses on interoperability between the U.S. and partnered nations.
