In March 2020, Oklahoma Governor Kevin Stitt activated members of the Oklahoma National Guard to support the whole of Oklahoma government response to the growing Coronavirus pandemic. In the weeks and months that followed, members of the Oklahoma Army and Air National Guardsmen volunteered for one of the longest sustained domestic operations by the Oklahoma National Guard in Oklahoma’s history.
