July 25, 2021 | 2:33
Regional Health Command Sergeants Major certified and validated the competition lanes ahead of the 2021 U.S. Army Medical Command (MEDCOM) Best Leader Competition here in Schofield Barracks, Hawaii. The Sergeants Major certified the lanes by navigating them themselves. They endured land navigation, Army Warrior Tasks and a challenging mystery event course during the lane validation, on July 22, 2021. Soldiers from all four of the MEDCOMS regional health commands will compete to become the MEDCOM's Soldier or NCO of the Year. The Best Leader Competition is designed to promote “Esprit De Corps” throughout the Army while recognizing Soldiers and NCOs that demonstrate commitment to the Army values and embody the Warrior Ethos.
