Five of the last known living women of the 6888th Central Postal Directory Battalion, Woman Army Corps (WAC), visited Fort Leavenworth, Kansas, Nov. 29, 2018. During their visit, these women visited the newly constructed monument honoring the 6888th Central Postal Directory Battalion and took part in the dedication ceremony the following day. The unit motto was "No Mail, Low Morale."
