2CR ASAT Training
2d Cavalry Regiment
April 24, 2013 | 1:50
In today’s battlefield knowing who the enemy is, is not so obvious. So how do you identify an enemy who hides in plain sight? Some soldiers are learning how to do that. Includes sound bites from Staff Sgt. Kirk Mahaffey, ASAT Chief of Training and Pfc. Joshua Walton, A. Troop RSS 2CR. Also available in high definition.

This training is called ASAT advanced situational awareness training designed to get soldiers to be predictive and proactive rather than reactive by understanding things like peoples body language and biometric cues like what a person will exhibit when their lying. It also teaches you to see how people are acting in their environment and see spot minuet changes that an untrained eye may not see.
