USAMU wins Commanding General Team Match at Interservice Rifle Championships

Soldiers from the U.S. Army Marksmanship Unit's Service Rifle Team competed in the 2019 Commanding General Team Match (MCCDC) at the 58th Annual Interservice Rifle Championships in Quantico, Virginia today. The course of fire for all members of the six-man team included: 10 standing, slow-fire shots at 200 yards; 10 prone from standing, rapid-fire shots at 300 yards; and 10 prone, slow-fire shots at 600 yards. USAMU had three teams competing and placed 1st, 2nd, and 5th place. The 1st place team, USAMU Craig, won with a score of 1782-65X, which tied with their winning score last year.
