Regional firefighters began refreshing Camp Pendleton's 164 miles of firebreaks designed to control fires on the installation year-round. The fire breaks, created and maintained with bull dozers and road graders are essential to mitigating property damage and loss of life on and off base. (U.S. Marine Corps video by Cpl.
