U.S. Marine Corps AH-1Z Vipers and UH-1Y Venoms with Marine Light Attack Helicopter Squadron (HMLA) 367, Marine Aircraft Group 39, 3rd Marine Aircraft Wing, and a U.S. Army MH-47G Chinook with the 160th Special Operations Aviation Regiment (SOAR), conduct night raid exercise during National Training Center Rotation 23-07 at Fort Irwin, California, April 27, 2023. During the exercise, HMLA-367 supported the 75th Ranger Regiment and 160th SOAR as the sole rotary-wing fire support element, enhancing joint planning and execution of long-range assault force escort, deep and close air support, and direct-action raids.
