36th Signal Battalion conducts an 80 hour general technical improvement class on Camp Walker. As the competition to remain on an active duty status increases, soldiers who are in over strength military occupations compete to re-class. Spc Marquetta Gibson sits in on one class that helps soldiers secure their future in today’s army. Attending a functional academic skills training program, or fast class can help you. Having a general technical score of one ten or over would qualify you for other jobs with good career opportunities. 36th signal battalion career counselors plan to schedule their next fast class for the beginning of march next year.
