Medics with Company G (MEDEVAC), 1st General Support Aviation Battalion, 111th Aviation Regiment, out of Topeka trained on hoist operations at the Great Plains Joint Training Center, Salina, July 20. During the training, flight crews hoisted Maj. Gen. David Weishaar, The Adjutant General, Col. Michael T. Venerdi, the Chief of the Joint Staff for the Kansas Adjutant General’s Department, and Command Chief Master Sgt. Maurice L. Williams, the command senior enlisted leader for the Kansas National Guard.
