The Infantry were reintroduced to a way to get their gear to fight by Army Reserve watercraft. The USAV Maj. Gen. Robert Smalls lead a four boat convoy with equipment from the 3rd Armored Brigade Combat Team, 3rd Infantry Division while escorted by a ship from the Kuwait Ministry of Interior Coast Guard.
