The Buckeye Hills-Hocking Valley Regional Development District, along with Volunteers from Meigs County and the help from 7421st Medical Support Unit, Army Reserve Medical Command Soldiers provide free medical, dental, optometry and veterinary services to the local population. The Innovative Readiness Training, or IRT, provides real world training opportunities for our nations military service members while supporting the needs of America’s under-served communities. Services include but are not limited to: general health screenings, school sports physicals, dental screenings, extractions, x-rays, vision screenings, and behavioral health screenings. In addition, veterinary services are providing care to pets and animals from the local animal shelter.
