The coronavirus can survive airborne for up to three hours and on metal or plastic surfaces for up to three days. Marines and Sailors must ensure they are taking measures to preserve and protect the force during the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic. Individual actions to prevent the spread of COVID-19 include sneezing into your elbow, cleaning common contact surfaces and using proper social distancing. (U.S. Marine Corps video by Lance Cpl.
