U.S. Marines with Marine Medium Tiltrotor Squadron 161, Marine Aircraft Group 16, 3rd Marine Aircraft Wing, and U.S. Airmen with 308th Rescue Squadron, 920th Rescue Group, 920th Rescue Wing, execute alternate insertion and extraction drills on Patrick Space Force Base, Florida, Feb. 2, 2023. This training was conducted to enhance alternate insertion and extraction method capabilities which included hoist, fast rope, and rappel operations.
