U.S. Marines Feel the Burn During Non-Lethal Weapons Training
U.S. Marine Corps Forces, Europe and Africa
May 6, 2016 | 0:57
U.S. Marines with Special Purpose Marine Air-Ground Task Force-Crisis Response-Africa conduct non-lethal weapons training aboard Morón Air Base, Spain, May 6, 2016. Each Marine was exposed to oleoresin capsicum (OC) spray and sent through a course of aggressors to test their ability to execute non-lethal martial arts techniques while under the effects of the spray. The week-long training evolution in preparation for bilateral training with French Gendarmerie, covered civil disturbance techniques, crowd control tactics and escalation of force drills in order to build proficiency in non-lethal tactics.
