April 21, 2020 | 1:24
Lt. Gen. Charles D. Luckey, Chief of Army Reserve and Commanding General, U.S. Army Reserve Command, visits two Urban Augmentation Medical Task Forces (UAMTF).

"We're uplifting the spirits of the nation," says Lt. Gen. Luckey. By self-less service and placing others first, medical soldiers within the 3d MCDS answer the call to assist frontline workers in the fight against COVID-19.

Lt. Gen. Luckey states that the nation needs the Army Reserve now, more than ever before. "We're going to be there," he says, "and we're going to win."

Within 13 days, medical units reorganized and mobilized formations that didn't exist before. "We're committed to taking care of the American people, during their greatest need," he concludes.
