Royal Thai Marine Corps Lt. j.g. Ronnapop Som-udorn discusses his thoughts on partnering with U.S. Marines in support of exercise Cobra Gold 2020 at Ban Chan Khrem, Kingdom of Thailand, March 5, 2020. Som-udorn, a native of Maha Sarakham province, Thailand, serves as a company commander with the 2nd Infantry Battalion, 1st Infantry Regiment, Marine Division. Exercise Cobra Gold 20, in its 39th iteration, is designed to advance regional security and ensure effective responses to regional crises by bringing together multinational forces to address shared goals and security commitments in the Indo-Pacific region.
