U.S. Marines Support Australian Artillery During Battalion Air Assault Course (LT Jordan Interview)
Marine Rotational Force - Darwin
July 15, 2015 | 2:39
Lieutenant Tom Jordan speaks on U.S. Marines and a CH-53E Super Stallion helicopter with Marine Heavy Helicopter Squadron-463, Marine Rotational Force – Darwin, transporting M777A2 Howitzer weapon systems for Australian soldiers with 101st Battery, 8th/12th Regiment, Australian Army, Australian Defence Force, to support a battalion air assault course during Exercise Talisman Sabre 2015 July 15 at the Bradshaw Field Training Area, Northern Territory, Australia. Talisman Sabre provides an invaluable opportunity to conduct operations in a combined, joint, and interagency environment that increases the U.S.-Australian alliance’s ability to plan and execute contingency responses, from combat missions to humanitarian assistance efforts. Exercises such as Talisman Sabre 2015 provide realistic, relevant training which is necessary to maintain regional security, peace, and stability. Jordan is a fire directions officer with 101st Battery, 8th/12th Regiment, Australian Army. (U.S. Marine Corps video by Cpl. Angel Serna/Released)
