U.S. Marines and Sailors with the Wasp (WSP) Amphibious Ready Group (ARG) – 24th Marine Expeditionary Unit (MEU), participate in defense of amphibious task force training aboard the San Antonio-class amphibious transport dock ship USS New York (LPD 21) while the WSP ARG conducts a simulated strait transit during Composite Unit Training (COMPTUEX), while underway in the Atlantic Ocean, April 26, 2024. The WSP ARG-24th MEU is conducting COMPTUEX, their final at-sea certification exercise under the evaluation of Carrier Strike Group 4 and Expeditionary Operations Training Group.
