The 4th Fighter Wing at Seymour Johnson Air Force Base, North Carolina, held it's 75th Anniversary celebration over the weekend of 15-16 September 2017. The Wing held a ceremony opening a time capsule that the Wing put in the ground 50 years ago in 1967. They revealed what was in the capsule as well as putting new items in the capsule. The time capsule will next be opened in 25 years at the Wing's 100th Anniversary in 2047.
