U.S. Soldiers from the 2nd Squadron, 2nd Cavalry Regiment arrived in Orzysz, Poland, on March 31, 2017. Battle Group Poland, comprised of 2/2 CR, U.K. and Romanian Soldiers, is currently deployed to Orzysz, Poland for six months in support of NATO's Enhanced Forward Presence (eFP). NATO's eFP is an allied, forward deployed defense and deterrence posture in Eastern Europe to protect and reassure NATO's Eastern member states of their security.
