U.S. Marines and Soldiers learn survival skills with People’s Liberation Army Soldiers and Australian Defence Force soldiers in the Australian Outback, Oct. 7-24, during training event KOWARI.
KOWARI is a trilateral training opportunity hosted by the Australian Army and is the first environmental survival training among forces from Australia, China and the United States.
The Australian Army will provide 10 soldiers, People’s Liberation Army will provide 10 soldiers and the United States will provide five Marines and five Soldiers. Participants will be divided into teams of varying sizes ranging from three to 10 participants with representatives from each participating country.
