A 20mm Land-Based Phalanx Weapon System, operated by the 218th Field Artillery Regiment, attached to Task Force Armadillo, fires a Pre-Action Calibration Firing (PACFIRE) exercise at Al-Tanf Garrison, Syria, on Feb. 26, 2025. The PACFIRE exercise calibrates the entire system to ensure that rounds fired are more accurate and on target during engagements. Combined Joint Task Force - Operation Inherent Resolve will optimize defense capabilities so Coalition Forces can better focus on supporting partner forces. (U.S. Army Video by Staff Sgt. Fred Brown)
